The upper portion of my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra display isn’t responding to touch, but the lower portion works fine. However, the S Pen works perfectly across the entire screen. I ran a phone diagnostic test, and it confirmed that the upper part of the touchscreen has an issue.

Note: I’ve already tried restarting the phone and removing the screen protector, but the problem remains. The phone is 11 months old and was purchased from an official Samsung showroom in Kolkata, India.

I’d like to know:

  • Why this problem might have occurred?

No, I took the phone back to the showroom in India where I bought it, and they’re replacing the display for me.

I had a warranty, so I didn’t have to pay anything.
