This post is to express my concerns about the s20 plus display issue and the negative impact that it's going to have on Samsung as a brand.

Now since this issue has got widespread recognition, there is no hiding it. Just search s20 plus display issues and you will get around hundred posts. If Samsung doesn't provide a solution to the affected people at least now, it will affect the brand value and trust that it built over the years. As we all know trust and brand value once gone are difficult to gain back.

As someone who promotes Samsung phones over Chinese brands, I am saddened by this conundrum. I have recommended Samsung phones to at least 10 people in the last year and all of them bought the phones too. So, if this is the situation of flagship customers, what about others? Hence, this issue affects me as well, although indirectly. 

If Samsung loses public trust, what other non-Chinese options do we have? NONE. That's not a situation I would like to be in.

So, it's high time for the people in responsible positions to realize the fact that brand value, trust, and public support are achieved by years of hard work. However, it can be lost with one incident like this and that will mean a moral setback as well as huge economic losses in the long run.

Therefore, I hope better judgment will prevail and the users facing this genuine problem will get free of cost repair. 

Nb: I have applied for BA and this post may get me rejected. Nevertheless, I hope I am doing the right thing. Around 3 months back I made a similar post. Then there were only around 30 posts on this platform regarding this issue. Now, it has blown out. So, it's already late for a resolution. But then as the saying goes, better late than never.

The same applies to their Exynos 9611 massacre... and then also they had no resolution and the customers were blamed as if suddenly several 9611 users decided amongst themselves to disgrace Samsung.
I don't know for how long will their cheap tactics work.

I personally don't face this. I am talking for the fellow members and friends. However, consumer case is easier said than done, bro. It takes a lot of time, energy and effort.

In USA Samsung replacing screens for just $50 even its customers fault. Here Samsung India too crazy and money minded. They never care about loyal customers

It depends on the consumer laws of a country and its government's power to intervene, sadly our laws are inadequate. But good to see some YouTubers like C4etech has already made/posted a video just hours ago related to this. If samsung doesn't take care of such mess ups then people will take into their hands n it won't be pretty, resulting in loss of loyalty for sure & sales. 😵 💫

Yes. In USA, Samsung heavily competing with Apple. Thats why they giving so many offers and better service. Infact if any customer not liking the device they can even return it within 1 month and will get the refund. Here in india they holding major shares though few Chinese companies giving tough fight.

We are the end user, if we all join together and boycott their producs they automatically bring the same offers and benefits to India.
