I've recently received a renewed card from HDFC but unable to add it in samsung wallet. After entering the cvv number (tried adding thoriugh manual or through NFC or thetough scanning ) it throws an error. Deleted the old card, uninstalled the app, but not able to add it. Any other solution ?
Reached out to the pathetic support team and the response was because HDFC is a 3rd party contact them. Idiots at work :(
Sent them the error logs twice ,all thesee junks care is to send a robotic response and close the ticket.
Please check if HDFC Regalia card allows integration with samsung pay. I have AMEX card and face the same issue. Reason being AMEX has discontinued allowing of AMEX cards on samsung pay.
I faced exactly same issue with ICICI Sapphiro card. Support at Samsung Pay and ICICI Bank basically played ping pong and no one took responsibility.
But after about 1 month when I tried to add card it worked !
You can ask HDFC Bank credit card help to de register tokenised card entries of your Credit cards. In ICICI netbanking there is option to do it but in HDFC i could not find that. This might help.
Same issue I am facing with my hdfc regalia gold renewed card...issue is with hdfc card only as I am not able to add new card on gpay as well... last Regalia card I was using with samsung pay from 2019
