Hello, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the One UI 8 update. We understand that software updates are meant to improve your device experience, and it is frustrating when that is not the case. Your feedback is important to us, and we are working to address any bugs or performance issues that users may be facing.

We recommend a few troubleshooting steps that have been helpful for some users after a major update:

Clear the cache partition: This can often resolve performance issues and glitches that occur after an update.

Check for app updates: Make sure all your applications are up to date, as some apps may need to be optimized for the new One UI version.

If these steps do not resolve the issues you are facing, please provide more specific details about the problems you are experiencing. You can reach our support team through our official channels for further assistance, where we can help you with personalized troubleshooting steps for your specific device.

The feature to automatically lock the Secure Folder every time an app is exited is not available in One UI 8, which is an intentional change by Samsung to refine the user experience. This change has been noted by other users as well.

While the "Lock Secure Folder when leaving app" option is no longer present, there are other methods to secure the folder:

Manual Lock: You can manually lock the Secure Folder by tapping the three vertical dots (More options) in the top-right corner and selecting Lock and exit.

Auto Lock Options: The "Auto lock Secure Folder" setting offers other options, such as locking when the screen turns off or after a set amount of inactivity. You can adjust this setting by going to the Secure Folder app, tapping the three dots, and selecting Settings > Auto lock Secure Folder.

Routines: Some users have suggested creating a Bixby Routine to automatically lock the folder under certain conditions.

Samsung values customer feedback and uses it to improve its products and services. Your request to bring back this feature is noted and will be shared with the relevant teams for consideration in future updates. To submit feedback directly, you can use the Samsung Members app.
