Following the recent One UI 8.0 update on the S23FE device on October 7th, a data loss incident happened to me after the OS update. Despite engaging Samsung customer care for support, no solution was provided by experts. I forgot that I had turned on data encryption and app backup synchronization in One UI 7.0 prior to the update. Subsequent to the update and device reset, the option to disable encryption is unavailable, and device enforced to use a recovery code that was also lost with the data.
