Samsung flagship design inconsistent

S22 Ultra is the most premium phone in the market. But Samsung needs to be consistent with their design language like Apple. Every year Samsung is changing the design of it's flagship which makes it look like Chinese brand phones. If Samsung remains consistent with their design language, it can finally catch up with apple.

Ummm I think not. You believe Apple is somewhere above every other company, but the truth is, Apple sells on the basis of brand. People just show off Apple logo. Although I respect your opinion, I think Samsung is already far better and beyond than Apple. Mind you, we are still using Androids, a software which was never designed for smart phones. If Fushia or any other phone specific softwares rolls out in the industry, you can say bye to Apple

Ironically nowadays everyone uses cases on their phones. They don't show off Apple logo and in 2022 nobody cares about Apple logo. But if you cover the Apple logo, people can recognize it's an iPhone 13 Pro because of the unique camera design. Samsung needs to be consistent in their design language too. They had a unique contour cut design but they changed it after a year. If I'm spending 1000$ + for a flagship device, I want the design to be consistent

They don't care about the logo? Yeah, what I meant was brand. Not exactly logo, the brand. People don't care about use-cases, which is really better, they care about the brand. Secondly, it's your need to have a consistent design. I have a need of consistency in the software which they very well do. As long as UI experience is similar, I am fine with new design every year. If any funkie change comes in the new flagship, I just don't buy it and roll with my older device. They are almost consistent when it comes to a specific series. A series, S series and so on.

Samsung is not only competing with Apple but with rest of the Android brands as well. The reason I choose Samsung over other Android brands is consistency to some extent. Instead of making changes to current S22 design, Samsung must keep it consistent and improve what they already have. The reason I will never switch back to Apple is the 10x optical zoom Samsung offers. Samsung needs to improve it even further than make design changes that companies like Huawei and other does.

If every flagship starts to look same then, people will complain samsung is copying Apple😂 and moreover where will be the distinction and satisfaction to consumers that they have purchased the latest flagship and not an oldbook with new cover.

I would beg to differ. Having the same design language is the most boring thing a brand can do. Every flagship from a brand should physically be different from the previous one, that is what keeps the market fresh.

There should be "refinement" in design, not drastic change. If you remember S20 had a dual front facing camera which was removed in S21. It means you're not confident in your design and changing it randomly every year. Similarly S21 Ultra had a unique contour cut camera design which was so unique. But Samsung removed that in S22 Ultra. I am not saying design should look same every year but Samsung should atleast use same design for atleast 2-3 years

S10+ had dual front facing camera which was removed in S20. That's has nothing to do with being confident in design, its all about having a seamless display experience. And personally believe that every brand should have a design overhaul every year. It surely depends on personal preference, but I believe most people prefer a major design change.
