Recently, I was trying to purchase Samsung care plus plan.
Frankly i felt Samsung care plus plans are good, specially if you buy expensive phone. I think it is always good if you can protect your phone min of 1 year atleast. So this should give you peace of mind.
Actually having protection or extended warranty is not new concept.
When i tried to purchase the Samsung care plus protection plan for my Galaxy S23Ultra, I had feeling purchase should be easy process. But i was totally wrong, Following the steps.
1. Here you have to first shw interest to buy plan,
2. Yoou Receive activation cdoe and you need to do diagnostic test.
3. After diagnostic test, you need to enter activation code and make payment.
4. Receive policy in few days.
Experience in doing diagnostic test is horrible. you need to be in front of mirror, and keep device in front of mirror god know how long, i tried 8-10mins but still it was not finished.
So i decided to go to service center and enable, but when i when to servicee center he said, since you have shown interest ealirer through app, that interest your need deactivate. Then only they can raise the fresh request.
How we can deactivate the interest, neither samsung customer center knew, nor Servify team.
After multiple calls, Samsung said send a mail to samsung :) I have sent the mail, but then need multiple documents.
Actually i have fundamental doubt how come just activating warranty or protection is so complicated?
We are in 2023,
I had did same thing for my LGE product, i could able to pay and activate the device protection plan in 5mins :)
Looks like Samsung is so afraid or dont trust customers or dont trust their own device :) So making the process so hard that, User wont be able to activate it :)
Honestly Samsung needs to growup on making process more simpler and more accessible to user. Or atleast learn from other companyes like LGE and Apple. etc.

I really don't know how you went through this process. I got my s23 ultra from the online store. It got activated by itself. No action my end. Last year I got s22 ultra from offline store. Same thing. They just give you the bill and done. No action needed.

Yes I have faced same issue, but till problem not solver, samsung customer care peoples really worst service...

If you buy the vsre plus plan during purchase then it will be simple.. but my case i did not took during purchase sinply becoz airtel postpaid had the free 1 yr screen protection plan for me. But turns out airtel are more stupid 😀

I could able to solve this issue. With help of samsung customer care. I sent the email to samsung care team. And they did it very fast and replied to my email.
Then i quickly went to service center and enabled the care plan. Really good experience by samsung care team.
