Samsung S8+ Sim Card Detection Issue

My S8+ automatically switches on the the sim card in the secondary slot even if it is switched off manually already. It overrides that choice. If i am on international roaming, i switch off my home sim but my home country sim card automaticlly switched on my home country.

Sometimes, even if single sim is inserted, error message is displayed saying "sim card not detected".

Is it an hardware issue or a software issue ?

Hi, it could be a software issue related to a 3rd party trying to use the Second SIM. 

I suggest you to test the device in the safe mode for a while and check. 

If the problem not resolved, try to reset the device to the factory, or visit the service center.
