Happy New Year to All...

Samsung S22 Ultra doesn't support normal charging & OTG USB on certain old version USB thumb drive. However it works well with the latest USB C SSD and fast charging modes.

Meaning to say the old USB thumb drive & old chargers can not be used anymore ? Anyone else facing this issue or do my device usb port had a connector issue with the terminals linked to the conventions USB?

I use Samsung DEX & the screen mirroring also works well, expect USB devices connected to my USB display converter will not work. eg I can work with DEX , but my external keyboard & mouse would not work :(.  It used to work in the past, i see this happened recently.

I have used old chargers before & old thumb drive a few months ago.. it worked very well. Also the OTG supported wired mouse & other OTG devices, but since last one month it would work on the latest USB-C devices & latest USB-C fast chargers only.

Need your expert advice. Thanks

Try formatting your usb to a different file system and check. If it's Fat32, format to NTFS & vice versa.

Type this code *#0808# on default dialer and select mtp then reboot. Also note NTFS drive will not work on Samsung.

Maybe samsung gives limited support for NTFS on S series only, other models don't support NTFS format. I personally usa a paid app to access my backup NTFS SSD.
