Hey,

So, I recently Got a S23 Ultra, and started setting up my device and finshed setting up. Then when i tried to setup samsung pass, I logged into my and tried to verify my fingerprint.

It keeps popping the error "Couldn't Verify Fingerprints" please try again.

I went through solutions in the forum, which said to try disconnecting wifi and try with mobile data and yea i tried switching to mobile data and tried a several times still it shows the same error.

Also i triend forcestop, clear cache and data, Uninstalling and Reinstalling, removing my samsung account and relogin, removing fingerprints.

Anyone else gfacing this issue?!

Expecting for solutions, Thank you!!

Update: It worked on its own, I tried logging in after a day of try all the fixes and it worked without doing nothing.

Check that your fingerprint sensor is clean and free of any dust, dirt or debris. You can gently clean the sensor with a soft cloth or a cleaning kit designed for phone screens.

Try enrolling your fingerprint again. To do this, go to Settings > Biometrics and security > Fingerprints, and select Add fingerprint. Follow the on-screen instructions to enroll a new fingerprint. Be sure to place your finger on the sensor in a natural and comfortable way.

Restart your device and try again.

Ensure that you have the latest software update installed on your device. Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install to check for updates.

If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your device to factory settings. However, this will erase all data and settings on your device, so be sure to back up any important data before doing so. To reset your device, go to Settings > General management > Reset > Factory data reset.

If the issue still persists after trying these steps, it may be a hardware issue and you may need to contact Samsung customer support or take your device to a Samsung service center for further assistance.

I tried it all still doesn't work. Also it worked till yesterday, so i gues it isn't a hardware issue. My fingerprint sensor works just fine with every other apps including my banking apps samsung wallet etc.

As far as I am aware, Samsung Pass has been incorporated and is now a part of Samsung Wallet. Did you update Samsung Wallet?

Seems like its happening with others too! Not to worry, this will be fixed in a future update. I'll try to get a report to the team.
