Galaxy SRecall and hard ware changes would be an expensive and exhaustive affair considering the logistics not considering a setback in reputation and revenue.
This trend of cutting corners to meet time lines is common in industry. Even apple botched up.
Chinese vultures will capitalise on this to push their products taking a dig at Samsung.
This should be lesson for Samsung not to compromise on quality to push half baked products into the market.
People forgive once but not for ever after paying premium.
