S8 update?

I have been using S8 since its launch and having not received an update for about 6 weeks and still stuck in August security patch I am deeply concerned about the security and the vulnerability of my device. My devices Model Number is SM-G950FD, and my Baseband version is G950FXXU1AQI7. Situated in South-east Asia!
And yes I did go to the settings and check for OTA updates and it does say my device is up-to-date with the updates but I am concerned somehow my device is not getting thoes updates due to some glitch or connectivity issue with the servers as I have said earlier, I haven't gotten an update for about 6 weeks and I have read a lot of articles that everywhere else an update rolled out last month with the security patches and other performance improvements. or is it that you goes haven't rolled out any update since september?
So when will the update be rolling out and why is it talking so long? Or does your service only go to western or developed countries?!

but anw those vulnerabilities cannot be used by just some random person it takes someone vast amounts of computing knowledge to use those vulnerabilities against you
and almost 90% of the time since it takes alot of effort to crack it and also time unless your a gov officiol with gov codes or sometimes it really is not worth it
i mean name the last time you even heard about someone using those vulnerabilities and hacking someone using em even though there are like 4 major one every month ?

lol u r ryt and I was joking too.
what I actually meant and wanted was android 7.1.1 as the Note 8, as I know Oreo could take some time for Samsung. Wanted a more updated version of android so I could just get the latest features that the note has atm. thats all. and Also a fix for the blueborne security vulnerability which was fixed on September patch and the S8 was on August patch all this time. but I just checked, an update just rolled out and it is being downloaded atm.

would you rather they waste time working on 8.5 seperately or we can just jump to 9.0 along with oreo that way the software team can only focus on one update and thats 8.0 instead of 7.1.1 which is a small update
id say let the midrangers get 7.1.1 and we flagships get 8.0 asap right ?
