S24 ultra ram issues

Could any one tell how is this ram plus working?? It's turned on for additional

 8gb but nowhere it showing as 20gb. Instead it's still showing 12gb..

It is not real ram it is a softwear
It use your storage as ram
Turn off ram plus will improve your performance
Ram plus only use full for calculator app only

But it will show 8gb as virtual ram in with 12gb.. check with past samsung phones

I will turn off.. but where is it showing that I have additional 8gb of virtual ram ?? Please answer my question if you know.. or leave it..

Hi,

RAM is not a useful feature. You can turn it off as S24 Ultra already has min 12 GB min RAM which is enough for daily use incl. Gaming.

It doesn't not show up in the Available RAM.
If turned ON, when you are about to exhaust your physical Memory, then only it will kick in and copy some static memory from physical memory to a logical memory; it will create a copy of small portion of RAM and paste it into your storage. The size of data pasted will not exceed 8GB (as you have chosen 8GB to be your RAM+ size)

Imo, with 12GB of Physical memory, you should not need any more RAM... You may opt for 2GB RAM+ if you like to use RAM+

As per your concern, we want to inform you that RAM Plus on Galaxy phones expands memory with virtual memory from the storage. This allows more apps to run in the background and launch faster. However, Kindly perform the following steps to disable the RAM Plus feature:

Path: Settings> Device Care> Memory> Choose RAM Plus> Turn off the switch to disable the RAM Plus feature> Choose Restart when prompted.

In case the issue still occurs, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).
