Issue with Green Line After Software Update

Dear Samsung Support Team,

I updated my Samsung S22 Ultra on January 6th, and after the update, a green line appeared on my phone screen. My device is out of warranty, so I visited your service center and created a job sheet, but my request was rejected.

I am now regretting my decision to purchase a Samsung device. I paid ₹1.2 lakhs, and this is the kind of service I am receiving. The service center is asking for ₹14,000 to replace the display, but why should I bear the cost when the issue was caused by your update?

I have learned that Samsung has a policy of covering horizontal lines, but not vertical ones. Could you please provide the official policy document where this is mentioned? I would appreciate a resolution to this issue at the earliest.

Samsung find reason to avoid free replacement of mobile display i got my s22 display changed free of cost go to my galaxy app send email to Samsung care try your luck repeat your request again and again it took 40 days to convince samsung

Dear Samsung Customer Support,

This is absolutely unacceptable. My phone doesn’t have a single scratch, and the issue started only after your software update. This is clearly a fault from your side, so why should I be forced to pay for it? Is this how you treat your flagship customers?

I expected better from Samsung, but it seems like customer satisfaction is not a priority for you. If this is the kind of service I can expect, I will seriously reconsider purchasing Samsung products in the future. Fix my device without any charges.

So U guys saying that Green Line was Providing Samsung Software & u cant do anything about that .. wow Guys im the customer since samsung S series 1st Android Mobile To still Now .. and now im also facing same issue ... And iM decided To Move on Iphone.. Goodbye samsung...

I have reported it consumer forum on this matter, same issue with my s21 plus vertical green line on the phone, and the request is rejected due to scratch on the charging socket on the phone, however I wanted them to help me with the green line which caused due to the software update, scratches or dents have no role here nor any customer is expecting them to fix this. Never ever buy Samsung phones I have posted this on as many platforms possible to make people aware of this horrible experience.

I agree, collect all the evidences and file a complaint with consumer forum. Samsung should be held accountable.
