Ever since I have updated my S24 to the October patch, I have noticed abnormal heating in the phone. Even in basic tasks like Instagram usage, and when I use mobile data (4G), and gets warm when I use Twitter. I hope they fix the heating issues ASAP.

That's what I just wrote. The recent software is the culprit here. (October patch)

No brother, the network in my area is great. I don't use 5G because it would drain battery faster, thus I use 4G but even 4G is causing alot of heat.

Hello there,

I'm a user of the Samsung Galaxy S24, and I'm writing to share my positive experience with the device. I haven't encountered any issues with overheating or battery life, and I believe my usage habits may be contributing factors.

Here are some of the practices I follow:

1. I primarily use 4G connectivity.
2. I've enabled the "Suspended cached app execution" feature in the developer settings.
3. I've set the battery protection to the maximum level.
4. I've enabled the adaptive power-saving mode.
5. I use the auto-brightness feature to adjust the screen brightness based on ambient lighting conditions.
6. I remove the phone case when gaming to allow for better heat dissipation.

I hope this information is helpful to other S24 users who may be experiencing overheating or battery issues. Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Best regards
