I got this phone a week ago..but the battery runs down quickly when using it...I don't know is it because it's still new or what..Anyone else with this problem??

And I am still on July security patch...I haven't received the August update..my S23 Ultra has already the update

Can you attach a screenshot of the Battery Care in Device Care.
Follow this direction in Settings.

Settings > Battery.

My phone was not charged full.. but it went down quickly in 3 hours' time.. from my last charge, or am I overreacting ???....My S23 Ultra's battery felt better than my S24 Ultra's battery... Maybe give is more time?? Like a month???....and then do you know how I can reset my camera on S24U because it struggles with nearby shots, etc????

I can assist with putting background apps that are draining your battery to sleep.

Yes I can assist with resetting your camera. Is it the Samsung Camera app you are referring too.

Hey...sorry to bother you...I wanted to tell you after I hot the August update Monday...my battery improved a lot...I see now what the lady said in the last comment..Mobile data eats your battery....With WiFi on I will get almost 2 days if I use the phone light...if I use it a bit heavy then only 1 day and 4 hours....and with Mobile data like today..will only last me 1 day with maybe a bit of hours...Yeah I can switch 5G off..but then why did you purchase a 5G phone if you are just going to turn it off...

Hey. You have also received the August update. I have also seen battery improvement on my phone. Glad to hear that you have too.
Turning of 5G only prevents your phone from using 5G Mobile Network not 5G Wi-Fi, but if I buy a 5G phone I would also make use of it. I haven't really used my phone today, but this is my battery usage.

I use battery protection. Limits the charge to 80%.

So you only charge your phone to 80%...not to 100%???....Didn't know that...so then there is no actual reason of switching it off then...

I use it, but I turn it off if I know I am not going to be near a charger in 24 hours.

I use it because I plan on keeping my phone for 4 years. I am not sure about you. It helps slow down battery degradation over the long run.
