I've been facing this problem for three weeks now, and it's negatively affecting my battery life. My phone used to last two days, but now I can't even get a full day out of it, even after resetting my device to factory settings and reporting the issue through the Samsung feedback. Samsung responded, saying they don't have information on the next update. This is really frustrating, as this issue is causing us to charge our phones more frequently, reducing the long term battery life.
Samsung, when will this issue be resolved? Why aren't these updates thoroughly tested before public release? Surely there has to be some QA before going to production?
I had the same issue with my 24U before May security update.
To minimize (not fix) drain, please below One UI 7 Configuration i did on my phone.
AOD - Auto
Dark mode - On
Offline Finding - Off
Extra Dim - On (80%)
Screen Resolution - FHD+
When Sleep Mode is active - Power save on
Screen Timeout - 30 seconds
Performance Profile - Light performance
Motion Smoothness - Standard
Adaptive Battery Saving - On
Power Saving and P/S routines - Routine On at 30%
Battery Protection - Mon to Friday - 15/85
When connected to WiFi - Network Mode from 5G/LTE to 3G (if your phone is always on 2 to 0 network bars, it will consume battery while trying to find better signal but if you always on mobile data, ignore this routine)
this helped me get SOT 06hr 21m, 85% in the morning and 20% when i get back home. Then may 22nd Samsung rolled out May Security Update which gave me extra 2hrs SOT as of Saturday. it is also rumored that S24 Series will receive a 1GB Update sometime in June which will help with the battery drain.
**Do not forget to Check Google Play System Update as well**
