As of my last update in 2022, Samsung devices typically do not have a built-in system-wide app lock feature like some other Android devices or custom ROMs. However, Samsung does offer the Secure Folder feature, which serves a similar purpose by allowing you to secure apps, photos, files, and data inside a protected folder.

### Using Secure Folder:
1. **Set Up Secure Folder**:
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Biometrics and Security > Secure Folder.
- Sign in with your Samsung account.
- Follow the prompts to set up your Secure Folder.

2. **Add Apps to Secure Folder**:
- Open Secure Folder.
- Tap "Add apps" to select which apps you want to secure.

3. **Access Secured Apps**:
- Apps inside Secure Folder will have a separate instance, and they'll require authentication (PIN, pattern, fingerprint, etc.) to access.

### Third-Party App Lockers:
If you prefer a more traditional app lock feature, you can use third-party app lockers available on the Google Play Store. Some popular options include:

- **AppLock** by DoMobile Lab
- **Norton App Lock** by NortonMobile
- **Smart AppLock** by SpSoft

### How to Use Third-Party App Lockers:
1. **Download App Lock from Play Store**:
- Search for one of the app lockers mentioned above.
- Install and open the app.

2. **Set up App Lock**:
- You'll be prompted to set a PIN, pattern, or password.
- Grant necessary permissions.

3. **Lock Apps**:
- In the app locker, select the apps you want to lock.

4. **Access Locked Apps**:
- The locked apps will now require the PIN, pattern, or password you set.

### Note:
- Third-party app lockers work independently of the Secure Folder and can be used for additional security.
- Remember to choose a secure PIN, pattern, or password to prevent unauthorized access.

Using the Secure Folder or a third-party app locker should help you secure your apps and data on your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra or any other Samsung device.

Yes, I know I love Secure Folder. I want to lock the apps outside the Secure Folder.

Then Samsung company did not install all the apps in the secure folder only, why did they release the apps outside?

Samsung has a different policy regarding security. Perhaps because of some countries' laws

Samsung offers a feature known as "Secure Folder," designed to safeguard apps, files, photos, and more through PIN, pattern, password, fingerprint, or iris scan protection. This feature creates an isolated space on your device, ensuring the privacy of your apps and data separate from the rest of your device. While not a dedicated "App Lock" for each app, Secure Folder serves a similar purpose by enhancing the security of sensitive information.
