Galaxy SDoes anyone know what could be causing YouTube to crash? I already tried reinstalling the app, clear cache, in battery options it is in unrestricted mode. This only happens when the battery is below 20%.

Galaxy S
If YouTube is consistently crashing when your battery is below 20%, it could be related to power-saving features or app permissions. Here are a few things to try:
### Power Saving Settings:
1. **Battery Optimization**: Check if YouTube is optimized for battery saving. Sometimes aggressive battery optimization can cause apps to misbehave.
- Go to Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization, then find YouTube and set it to "Don't optimize."
2. **Background Restriction**: Make sure background activity isn't restricted for YouTube.
- Settings > Apps > YouTube > Battery > Background restriction (disable if enabled).
### App Permissions:
1. **Permissions**: YouTube might need certain permissions to function properly.
- Settings > Apps > YouTube > Permissions. Ensure all necessary permissions (like Storage, Camera, Microphone) are granted.
### App Updates:
1. **Update YouTube**: Make sure you have the latest version of the YouTube app. Outdated versions might have bugs that cause crashes.
### Device Settings:
1. **Developer Options**: If you have Developer Options enabled, check for any settings that might affect apps, such as "Don't keep activities."
### Other Troubleshooting Steps:
1. **Safe Mode**: Boot your phone into Safe Mode and see if YouTube still crashes. This helps determine if the issue is caused by a third-party app.
- Press and hold the Power button, then tap and hold "Power off" until you see the option to boot into Safe Mode.
2. **Factory Reset**: As a last resort, you can consider a factory reset, but remember to back up your data first.
### Check for System Updates:
1. Ensure your device has the latest system updates. Sometimes system bugs can affect app stability.
### Contact Support:
If the issue persists, you might want to reach out to YouTube or your device manufacturer's support for more specific assistance, especially if it seems to be a known issue with your device model or the app itself.
