*URGENT: Samsung S22 Plus Motherboard Failure After Software Update!* 
Fellow Samsung users,
 I'm sounding the alarm! My Samsung S22 Plus (purchased March 2022) suddenly died after a software update. 
Diagnosis: Motherboard failure! 
*The Shocking Part:* Samsung wants me to pay ₹30-35,000 for repairs, despite being a loyal customer using flagship phones since 2013 (S3, S6, Note 5, Note 9, S22 Plus, and S23 Ultra). 
*Questions:* 1. Has anyone else experienced motherboard failure after a software update? 
2. How did you resolve the issue?
 3. Is Samsung's response acceptable?
 *Demands:* 
1. Investigate software-related manufacturing defects. 2. Provide fair support for loyal customers. 3. Review guidelines to prioritize customer satisfaction. Share your thoughts! Let's hold Samsung accountable for quality and customer care.

yes i bought s23 ultra in aug 23 , exactly after a year, when the warranty ends and after the software update in September 24 the phone started restarting spontaneously,  and finally on 5th oct 24 , phone is dead completely , samsung is asking 35000 for replacement of motherboard,  and upon that my whole data will be gone

Hi Manoj, I faced same issue with my s22 plus yesterday.. they demanded 35k for motherboard repair, I just did software installation. What step you followed to resolve this issue, can we complaint in consumer court in this situation.

After continuous mails , Samsung offered me a discount of 25% On repair cost, which I denied. I have not done anything else since then bcoz of some busy schedule

Hi. What's the status now? Is your phone working or completely dead? Did you got a new phone? I am having the same issue and there are thousands of people facing this issue but Samsung is not taking responsibility only. A flagship phone getting bricked by Samsung themselves and they are not even being accountable for it.

I'm facing the same issues currently and this phone isn't worth anything anymore, they asking for 35k to fix their own issues by using cheap chips. So done with samsung. After so many years of using samsung flagships, this was an disappointing end.
