Galaxy SDear Samsung Community and Customer Support,
I am reaching out to express my concern and frustration regarding a serious issue I have encountered with my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which I purchased in April 2022. After performing a routine software update, the phone suddenly stopped working. I immediately visited the authorized Samsung service center, only to be informed that the motherboard needs to be replaced, with a repair cost of ₹45,000.
This is particularly upsetting as there has been no physical or water damage to the device, and the issue arose solely after the software update. It is extremely troubling that a flagship phone like the Galaxy S22 Ultra would experience such a critical failure due to a software update, which is supposed to enhance the user experience, not cause irreversible damage.
I have always trusted Samsung for its premium devices, but this situation has left me disheartened and concerned about the quality and reliability of the product. As the issue occurred due to the software update provided by Samsung, I believe it is unfair for me to bear the cost of the repair, especially since there has been no physical damage caused by me.
I respectfully request Samsung to cover the cost of the repair or offer a replacement since the motherboard failure seems to be a result of a software issue, which is beyond my control. As a loyal Samsung customer, I believe that the company should take responsibility for such issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
My whole data will be lost.
I have the service order number. You can contact them. There is no physical damage on the phone
Thank you for your understanding and support. I look forward to a swift resolution to this matter.
Best regards,
Lakshya
