My device all of a sudden starting showing this green bar to the right side of front cam. Apparently it shows up only when I'm on 120Hz setting and goes away when I switch to 60Hz. Looks like the issue popped up after system update.

Already tried basic troubleshooting like restart, reset, safe mode, latest software update etc but nothing seems to work. My phone hasnt been dropped or has no damage at all.
Has anyone out here faced this and was able to fix it somehow? Have been seeing a lot of users complaining the same on reddit in the last few eeks. Any help is appreciated.

This is a trick question. Free replacement was available but I am not sure if it's available now or not

I did that and got the device diagnosed at the service center. Since my comment gets deleted if I post the job id here, please find it yourself and update here.

I hope you must be having the service request number/job sheet number.
1. Take screenshots of such complaints from this forum.
2. Write a mail to the service head of Samsung quoting your problem and servive request number/ job sheet number. THERE MUST BE JO DENT MARK OR PHYSICAL DAMAGE SIGN ON THE MOBILE PHONE. I hope, service center person would have taken photos of your mobile from all angles during creation of job sheet/ service request.
3. If already written, and you have received a negative response, then write a strong reply to that reply mail attaching all the screenshots in the mail. You need not to budge off. Remember that. Intimate and warn them that you are going to spread about this issue on social media.
4. Also, lodge a complaint against Samsung on the National consumer helpline WhatsApp number (Screenshot attached)
5. Take a screenshot of the complaint and attach it also in the mail.

That's what I did when a green line appeared on my phone screen s22 Ultra MAY month.

They layer on agreed for free replacement. But I had to pay service fee of ₹ 502. Rest of approx ₹ 22,850 was borne by Samsung.

Stand strong...

Steps to be followed to get free/discounted replacement:

Go to Service center >> Create a job sheet >>They will give an estimate which you can reject.

You will get a callback from customer support team once you reject the SVC estimation. Explain them the situation how and what's the sauce.

Try pushing to the senior team members and ask for discounted price.

Please note : You'll only get free/discounted replacement price from Samsung HQ if your device doesn't have any major dents and no liquid damage is detected.

Best of Luck buddy!

Already tried that. Currently waiting to hear back from the Customer Experience manager, as they're now verifying the job sheet.
