The main camera of my S21 ultra is not working properly after several updates from Samsung.
Even after visiting the Samsung service centre and having reset my phone the issue still remains. Now they are claiming that there is complaint in Camera hardware and need to change it(costing Rs.8500+tax).
I urge the people seeing this message to not choose Samsung products as this is the second time I am facing such quality issues.

Same issue facing samsung S21. After the update the camera shows "camera failed", and followed all the steps shown by Samsung members but still it is not rectified. Now the service center told need to check the hardware.

It's the software update issues.. but they won't accept that fact..
We need to sue them for this

The service center uses the diagnostic tools for error findings, but if anything they find odd means the only easier way they are following "Hardware issue need to replace".

But its a common issue for everyone..its not just one person..just think about the many people who having the same issue..
I am not able to understand why they havnt solved it yet..even after people have raised the grievance.. and its their flagship phone..its just stupid how they just launch a new phone and only focus on that and not look back at the previous models during its software update..its literally killing off the older models

After the one ui 5.0 I am facing this issue hope it is an software glitch. Because one time while I was using instagram, I changed the filter many times and the camera load and soon it closes

Check the physical condition of your camera lens.

1. Broken camera lens.
2. Scratchy camera lens.

Please check there is no laminated or tempered glass pasted on the camera.

Use a microfiber cloth or a cleaning wipe. Gently remove the fingerprint, dirt, and dust from the camera lens.

If the issue has not been resolved then Reset camera settings
Please follow the below steps:

Step1: From the home screen tap on Camera.
Step2: Tap on Settings.
Step3: Scroll up and tap on Reset settings.
Step4: Tap on Reset.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback >Ask questions).
