This just happened to my S21 Ultra 5g this morning.

Ran the Samsung Members app and it failed the "Press side button" test. All other tests passed.

System software is up to date.

Update:

My phone basically turned into a lit-up brick (after one of numerous restarts that happened automatically). I then pressed the volumn-down and power buttons for 15 seconds (or so) and that caused a restart. When it came back, everything was back to normal and I could use the power button normally.
