Hello, folks,

I have an S24 Ultra, and the issue is that battery drains even when on Power Saving and Idle, I charge to 100% at night, and 5 hours (idle and on power saving and airplane mode) later, the battery is at 95%. I use the charger that came with the Samsung Trio Wireless Charger 25w.

I have cleared cache, and checked if any apps are consuming my battery, but all seems normal. I have also installed the latest update.

Can you plz help?

First of all I recommend you to enable Battery protection and make it Basic (if you need 100%).

Have you heard Samsung has a app called Good Guardians? Unfortunately it is only available in few countries.

You are able to download from Apk Mirror.

After installing it, you have to install the sub modules also from Apk Mirror.

It has 2 modules, Battery Tracker and Battery Guardian. You can use them to monitor battery usage and take action.

Thermal Guardian is useful to investigate overheating problems.

Hope this helps 😀

I'm kinda reserved about downloading apps outside official stores, like Galaxy Store and Google Play Store

To address the battery drain concern, we recommend performing additional troubleshooting steps to identify the root cause of the issue. These steps may include:

1. Update Software: Ensure that your device's software and related apps are updated to the latest version. To update your mobile device's software, follow these steps:
   - Step 1: Go to Settings > Software update.
   - Step 2: Tap on Download and install.
   - Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions.

2. Setup Phase: Your new phone’s battery may initially drain faster as you set up applications and features. This is part of the setup phase, and background operations are optimized during this time. Allow a few days for all background operations and syncing to complete.

3. 5G Service Impact: While connected to a 5G network, your phone may consume more battery than usual due to the high-speed processing of large-capacity data. Consider optimizing overall usage and adjusting background usage limits.

4. Optimization Steps:
   - Open Settings > Battery and device care > Optimize now.
   - Adjust Background usage limits: Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits.

5.  Use adaptive battery: Settings > Battery and device care > More battery settings > Adaptive battery.
