Im using the s23 ultra and while playing games i will get constant fps untill a light shows in the bootom of the screen (as in edge light) when the games become more laggy. Can this may be due to background apps and how can i fix this

It depends upon the game and thermal management
Some latest games makes the latest S24 ultra to over heat and cause lag and sometimes even closes the game

Bro that's Bixby voice wakeup light. I also faced same issue on my Galaxy S23+. If you don't use Bixby voice wakeup then turn it off, you problem will be solved.

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Clear app cache through Device care:
Settings > Device care > Storage > CLEAN NOW.
Note: To delete files or uninstall apps that you do not use anymore, select a category under USER DATA. Then, tick items to select and tap DELETE or UNINSTALL.

The clear cache memory of a particular application:
Settings > Apps > Now pick the app you like to clear off the cache memory > Storage > Clear Cache.

Reset the device Settings: Settings > General Management > Reset settings>Reset all settings to their default.

If you enabled Power Saving Mode, Power saving mode limits the performance of the device. So we recommend disabling the Power Saving mode in your device.

Keep your app updated: Tap on Google Play Store app or Galaxy Store> Manage apps & device> Apps available to update> If you want to update apps individually, tap See details and then tap the Update button next to the app you would like to update.
Note: kindly contact the particular application helpline once, to make sure there is no issue from their end.

In case the issue still occurs, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).
