The Galaxy S24 series ships with a new version of One UI, and the market expects older Galaxy devices to start getting this updated software relatively soon.
We previously heard that the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 will be the first to receive One U.I 6.1 in the first quarter of 2024. Now, more of the company's plans for One UI 6.1 appear to have emerged through a Samsung Community post.
According to a translated screenshot of a Samsung Moderator comment on the Community forums, Samsung intends to release the One UI 6.1 update for a handful of Galaxy devices in the first half of 2024.
Devices that should receive One UI 6.1 by H2 2024 include:
- Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S22/S22+/S22Ultra, and the Galaxy S23 series, including the Galaxy S23 FE.
