I don't know where the February 7 date surfaced from, there were no confirmations or official dates, only speculations and rum*rs. Eitherways, it was built for the new S series, and would have never been released for the old devices before the S25 first. Carriers affect the release, gsm vs satellite etc, each year it's the same story, but somehow people forget 🤷🏻

Can't agree more, @Jimmy. It was built for the S25 series which itself is under pre-booking. but eventually, like every year, it will be rolled out for other models, too.

Thanks for your post.

I've long concluded that there's some "psychology" around updates. People simply want them once they know updates should be available.

Me? I'm happy to wait patiently. As long as the device I have right now, today, can get my work done, I'm cool.

For those who want updates for security reasons, I say, ok, but in the meantime, take appropriate measures.

I appreciate your perspective! You’re absolutely right—there’s definitely a psychological aspect to updates. It’s that sense of wanting the latest and greatest once you know it exists.

I’m with you on being patient. If the device is performing well and meeting my needs, I’m good to go. You made a great point about security-conscious users—staying proactive with safety measures while waiting for updates is definitely the way to go. Most welcome and keep inspiring ❤
