Update :- Netflix pulled Samsung Galaxy S20 FE from the list of HDR supported devices list.

Update :- Netflix has added Samsung Galaxy S20 FE to their HDR compatible device list. You guys can check their website. 😊   https://help.netflix.com/en/node/23939

It's been a reasonable time since release of Samsung S20 FE but I still cannot watch HDR content or Dolby Atmos content on Netflix. The same device is still not certified on Netflix for HDR compatibility even the latest launches such as Samsung S21 is certified on Netflix. I was told the device is HDR certified. Please can somebody address the issue and fix it.

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G variant is just listed on their website but actual support in the app is still not there. Hoping for an update. Let's see maybe that gets 5G variant all covered and if not maybe it will get listed later.

S20 FE includes both the 4G and 5G variants. We are still not getting the option since the last update on Play Store is from 21st October. I am sure we will get it with a new app update.

Over years only Samsung m8800, S1, S3, S5, S7, S9 and now S20fe this is my last Samsung. The S20fe has No HDR though u All can wait for the end of the univers. Netflix failed like i because Samsung that the s20fe has hdr10+ but its only for vamera recording and not the Display!

There is support for HDR in this display. I can play HDR content with downloaded files. Samsung & Netflix just have to enable this in the app but it seems like something too hard for them.

I guess I'm going to the Apple side next time I'm buying a new phone...

Who is guilty? Samsung! I talked with Netflix, they said it's Samsung who must to enable HDR10, then Samsung confirmed what Netflix said. Why Samsung do that unfair decision? Simple, they want to force us to buy s21. Many times they laughed about Apple, but SAMSUNG are soo unfair with their customers! I live in Europe, I have Samsung S20 FE 5G, with powerful Snapdragon 865 5G. They offered hdr certification for Samsung s20 fe, with cheap sheet exynos?? But no for s20 fe 5g??? 😅 😅 😅 So stupid and so frustrating and disappointing! Shame on you, Samsung! I will sell my phone and buy Xiaomi, the best products for their prices. XIAOMI MI 11 is my next phone, in few days. Dislike and shame for samsung and applause for XIAOMI!

We are in 2022. I have a SAMSUNG 20fe(exynos).  Netflix is 720p and no HDR. I compared a Netflix movie with a iPhone 12...  The image In the Samsung is terrible. Black crash everywhere.  You only see black stains where in the iphone you see lots of detail. Is the worst phone in history.

I am not sure if It's 720p. I think Netflix plays at 1080p on Samsung Galaxy S20 FE only HDR is not enabled on this device by Netflix.
