Galaxy S
Unfortunately, Samsung has discontinued the standalone Video Player app and the Samsung Video Library app.
However, the video player is there, but you have to access it through the gallery....
So you can still play videos directly through the Gallery app . Here’s how:
- Open the Gallery app and select the video you want to play.
- Tap the three vertical dots (more options) in the top right corner.
- Choose “Open in Video player” from the menu.

Galaxy SApologies for any confusion. The video player is still accessible through the Gallery app. Here's how to play videos directly:
Open the Gallery app.
Select the video you want to play.
Tap the three vertical dots (more options) in the top right corner.
Choose "Open in Video player."
