My S20 plus is heating when doing small tasks

My S20 ultra is heating like a hot plate.. My phone comes with exynos 990. battery life is so poor.. I don't expect this from Samsung.. I should have gone for OnePlus which comes with Snapdragon.. why Samsung you push us to this stupid exynos chipset 😭 Phone is good but this processor is trash. Anyone please tell any method to stop this heating and improve battery life... Otherwise I'm returning my phone.. I just bought it yesterday. It's very pathetic to see such a reputed company pushing this kind of faulty processor in a flagship phone 😔. I feel cheated. We should do something about it.. They are giving same phone with good qaulity Snapdragon processor in US, Canada , South Korea and China.. and we are getting this faulty processor at exact same price 😤

Ps: I have questions to fellow S20 plus users . Should I return it or not?

Instead of buying S20 ultra you can pre book S21 ultra

It has exynos 2100 processor which is better than Snapdragon 888.

not likely. benchmark results are out. check this https://www.notebookcheck.net/The-Samsung-Exynos-2100-falls-well-behind-the-Qualcomm-Snapdragon-888-.... no heating issues, but snapdragon 888 GPU is way more stable and faster than exynos 2100. so better wait for S22 bcoz thats where AMD's improvisation will be introduced.

I got this S20+ for about 520$ in a offer... I don't have budget of s21😔 if I return this I don't have any option in this range only s20fe ( a big no with same exynos processor) and then there is OnePlus 8t with Snapdragon.

no worries mate. s20 plus is a good phone. specs wise better than s21 minus new overhyped ex2100. post jan 2021 update, along with bixby routines I am liking the way this phone performs.

Yeah Snapdragon better, but i heard sd 888 to fckd up and its the next 810. Lot of videos on YouTube on it

Not really in my opinion. anyways what matters is day to day operations with a day battery life and nice camera. in that way starting from note 9 I am liking every samsung flagship.

Ok exy fanboi🙄 . Its high time to stop exynos . Your note 9 running well coz in 60hz refresh rate no problem and its running on custom cores. I really feel exynos 990 can't handle 120hz well for multitasking. Snapdragon is way better go compared to 2100. Still clockspeed is a bit high on 2100 and my friend visited store to see s21 ultra. He said he couldn't bear the heat after using camera for 10 mins
