I got green line issue on my S22 plus

  • I got green line issue on my S22 plus smartphone. 
One week ago when i updated my phone to one ui 6.1 my phone restart with a green line😮💨. It came as it is as a surprise.

First i visited the Samsung service centre and after they checked the phone they told me that there is no replacement policy for s22 plus but s21 series and s22 ultra has free replacement if the phone has green line. Then i immediately connected with Customer service and They told me currently they only change the display for s21 series and s22 ultra as a free service but if i create a job sheet and they will inspect my phone and send the report to higher authority and higher authority ones cheak my phone's report and find it really has green line issue with update without having any physical and water damage(my phone dont even has a single scretch) then they will approve my service request and i can have my display cange. Then i did the same. And i got a call from customer service and he told me that my phone fullfilled all the criteria and they will approve my service request soon, but even after 2 days when i dont get any call or response from samsung then i call but they declined to approve my job sheet and started making stupid excuses that i did something wrong when updating my phone. Seriously samsung? What is this service? 

I never expected this from a company like samsung.

Sad to hear what happened to you my friend. I think you should keep fighting. If you are sure it happened after the update then Try to talk to their supervisors. They are responsible to fix it.

I got the same issue for my s22, but I got no help from the service center or customer care, they asked me to change the display for INR 16k. And all this just because there was some minor scratches and a dent, which the service center person also agreed, had nothing to do with the line.
It's just funny how Samsung doesn't give a **bleep** about customer satisfaction and after sale support.

Bro atleast they gave you some reason to reject you but my phone is scratchless even after 2.5 years because i always use cover and lamination film to protect it from scratches.
But they still declined and said they dont have guidelines... Funny😮💨

Please go to service centre and file a job sheet and they will cheak your phone and inform service head that s22 plus getting green line issue.
Then Samsung will So they will come up with a new policy for us too.
