Green line on s22 ultra display

Got green line on my s22 ultra after security patch update on 2 july 2025. Habe been talking to customer care but all they say inside was since the device is more than 3 yr(2 months extra) old so as per policy i will have to replace display at cost of 24k.

After much to n from they asked me to visit service center and generate a job sheet and connect with them. Today I did the same. If executive straight away said display replacement no possible for free I need to pay 24k. After much discussion a call back was arranged with a senior. Got a call back and initially the same policy thing was mentioned. On questioning why 3 yr capping for a flagship device n do samsung design devices to breakdown after 3 yrs, there was answer. Then she asked me share invoice n other documents to review the case and will get back to me on 16 july 2025.

6 july first line, 13 july second line today 14 july got 3 line.

I have spoken to many technicians also samsung service center person said this issues is caused by security updates majorly I 22 22 n 23 series devices.

Hope samsung owns up ans provide ne time free displace replacement for it's flag ship devices atleast for period for which they promised OS n security updates.

Don't make me regret my decision of buying your flagship mobile along with other devices

My s22 mobile display got Green line on 1st of Jan after software update out of warranty after repeated request samsung changed my mobile display free of cost samsung service center and samsung customer support don't provide free replacement open my galaxy app send email to Samsung care + you will get positive reply try

Already did but they samsung care+ replied saying contact us via chat support, call samsung helpline or via members app

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer care support through Samsung Members app as error report also send log files along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to other users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

Got 4th line on 16th n 5th line on 17th july 3 green 1 white 1 pink
First was on 6th july. Have been following up with samsung but no response yet. The pace at which samsung is think my whole display will be covered in green lines before they repond
