The Android 16 and One UI 8 update is now available for my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I am concerned about the potential for a 'green line' display hardware issue—a common post-update defect in previous models. My key question is: considering the potential risk, is it best to install the software immediately or to postpone the update until more data on its stability is available?
Always install major os updates through samsung smart switch by connecting ur mobile to a pc and updating via a good reliable and consistent wifi... this is the only way to get a complete update package which gets checked for errors by smart switch algorithm and gets installed fully, leading u to a bug free experience
Till date by following this method, i havent got any green/pink or any colored lines, also when updating kindly let the phone be in a cool, normal temperature room, and the phone must not be used for high intensity tasks like gaming before an update, do not charge the phone immediately after the update, battery drain may be seen for few days but its completely normal as the phone is getting adjusted to the new software
