Hello Everyone, After the recent Dec 2024 update i see a vertical green line on center of my screen from yesterday midnight around 2.00 AM. Tried all recommended solutions but none worked. Should I wait for an software update or go to service center. Will Samsung provide free screen replacement for S22 series if it is a hardware fault ?

Same case with me, I got a green line and 2 orange line in display of my S22+ after the Dec security patch update. Went to service center and spoke with Customer support, they are only willing to pay and change it. But now after going through various people's comments it can be assured that it is the software update at fault.

Everyone please contact the Customer support and notify this. Say to them the same has happened to other users because of this update. We might have a chance to get a cheaper or free replacement offer.

I got green line on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Exynos on 15/01/2025. I was just using my phone for browsing and the line appeared all of a sudden. I raised complaint via Twitter but yet to get call from them. 1736910462483_1000238420_1736910470.jpg

Guys update on this post, I have replaced my screen for ₹10688 in that Samsung agreed to pay ₹10039 and I paid ₹649 for service charge. Initially they cited phone is out of warranty so I have to bear the full amount. Then I raised a complaint at National consumer helpline (NCH) and then issue is escalated and got help from Samsung Head office. It was all possible because my phone doesn't have any physical damage and got inspected by service center people. Please get your phone inspected at service center for any physical damage and proceed for other help option like writing to CEO or raising NCH complaint in India.

Can you please upload the repair invoice so that I can use that as proof against them that if they are indeed offering free replacements to some people, why can't they give it for free to everyone. I am also facing this issue on my S22+ from 31st December 2024.
