Following a March software update, a green line appeared on my Samsung S23 screen. I am surprised and disappointed by this unexpected issue, as there was no physical damage. I believe this is a software problem, not a fault of my own. The Samsung service center quoted a 9,000 rupee repair cost, which is unacceptable given the circumstances and the fact that it's not my fault. I request a free replacement, as my warranty has expired. Many S23 users in India are experiencing similar green line issues after recent updates. The lack of a replacement policy is concerning. I urge Samsung India to address this widespread problem and implement a free replacement policy for the green line issue. After investing 80,000 rupees in this device, I am seeking a resolution. A free replacement would be greatly appreciated.

I understand that my phone is out of warranty, but I'm curious why other models receive free replacements while the S23 does not. Considering the S23's premium price point of Rs 80,000, why is Samsung unable to offer a free replacement? Why are the S20, S21, and S22 included in the free replacement policy but not the S23? I would appreciate a clear explanation. I cannot afford the Rs 9,000 repair cost for a premium phone. My only desired solution is a free replacement policy. If Samsung cannot provide one, I will be filing a complaint with the consumer court. I am very disappointed with this policy. @Samsungindia #need answer

Same experience for my s23 5g also. Phone purchased on june 2023. After march 2025 update, two vertical lines appearing on sceen. Last year my son's s21 fe had the same problem and samsung offered screen replacement free of cost. But now service centre saying it is not applicable to s23 model. Phone has no physical damage. It's entirely their fault. An for that customer have to bear. Samsung pls do the needful to resolve the issue free of cost for s23 also as many customers facing same issue.
Or elsenone will purchase Samsung mobiles again.

That's why sir i am asking free replacement after buying premium segment phone like this now they are charging 9k for each customer like this nonsense brand why our model not listed in the policy. I need support sir otherwise they will ignore to us . Pls share you're opinion with other also

My s22 mobile display got Green line on 1st of Jan after software update out of warranty after repeated request samsung changed my mobile display free of cost samsung service center don't provide free replacement open my galaxy app send email to Samsung care try your luck

No such notification from Samsung. Service center people telling this nonsense to avoid free replacement it took me 45 days to get positive reply from Samsung care
