My Samsung Galaxy S21 FE got a line on the display due to a software update. The device is out of warranty, so there is no chance of getting it repaired. Since this issue has not occurred from my side, Samsung should address the issues that arise globally. Samsung gives longer software updates in terms of years, but I have to say that they aren't pulling it off efficiently. To ignore these issues is a bad manner from the company, since they have to answer the queries regarding this.

If your phone has no dents/scratches on frame and no scratches/cracks on display AND it's less than 3 years old, you can go to Samsung service centre, they will replace your screen+frame for free (you'll have to pay labour charges and consumables charges though).

Bother, what about devices that survived three years? They are still Samsung devices, right? Since they have given assurances about four, five, or seven years of software updates, it means the devices should be taken care of by Samsung itself.

That's what the policy is from Samsung. If your device is more than 3 years old then you have to buy a new display, with labour charges and consumables cost it will cost you ₹10.5 to ₹11K.

I agree that Samsung should give lifetime warranty on green line issues like OnePlus, or at least for the entire software update cycle of the phone.

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue.
