Green Line Issue After August Update – Disappointed with Support

I’m posting here to share a serious concern and hopefully get some attention from Samsung and other users.

Right after the August software update, my Samsung phone suddenly developed a green line on the display. There were no drops or damages – this clearly started only after the update.

I visited the service center and was told that since my device is just over 3.3 years old, I don’t qualify for a free screen replacement, which is only offered for devices under 3 years.

But here's why I feel this is unfair:

The issue was triggered by a Samsung update, not anything I did.

My display was working perfectly before this – the update caused the fault.

Denying support just because the device crossed a specific age mark, when the problem is due to your own software, feels wrong.

It’s not about the screen cost – it’s about accountability.

My entire family has been loyal to Samsung for years, but this kind of experience is disappointing. We’re now seriously considering switching brands, simply because we didn’t get fair support for something that wasn’t our fault.

thr is no proper response still from yur support team...
Again n again thy are saying same reason it is 3yrs+ device
