Model: Samsung Galaxy S21
Issue: Sudden Green Line on Display
Phone Age: Just Over 3 Years

Dear Samsung Team,

I have been a loyal Samsung customer and have always trusted your quality. However, my Galaxy S21 has now suddenly developed a green vertical line on the display — **immediately after a recent software update**.

There was **no accidental damage, no pressure, no fall, and no screen issues for over 3 years.** The display was perfectly fine until this update. Clearly, this is a **post-update defect**, not a user fault.

This issue is widely reported across multiple S-series and Note-series models — and yet, there is **no official recall or support communication** addressing it beyond a limited period.

🔴 I want to place this on record:
**If a defect appears due to an update, even after 3 years of clean usage, the company remains accountable.**
As per Consumer Protection Act, any product failure caused by internal updates falls under **latent defect**, and such cases remain eligible for support **regardless of warranty period**.

I request Samsung to take immediate action and provide resolution. I’m not asking for a favour — I’m demanding accountability.

This message is being documented. I am also in contact with a legal advisor regarding this issue, and will proceed formally if needed.

Regards,
A responsible and informed customer.

They do not care.
Btw this is industrywide problem. Only onleplus has GreenLine warranty.
Probably get it repaired or what Samsung wants is you to upgrade
