Hello Members and Samsung Team,

I’m facing the green line issue on my Galaxy S21 FE. The problem appeared suddenly on my display without any physical damage to the screen itself. When I visited the Samsung Service Center, they acknowledged the green line issue but refused to provide a free replacement, saying it’s due to minor dents and a slightly open back panel on my phone.

I understand the device has small dents from regular use, but this green line problem is clearly a known display issue affecting many Galaxy users after software updates. I’ve maintained my phone carefully, and I believe this defect should be covered under Samsung’s goodwill or free display replacement policy.

I request Samsung India to please review my case and provide a fair resolution. I’ve attached photos and the service center’s written response for reference.

Has anyone else faced a similar issue and successfully got it resolved? Please guide me on how to escalate this further.

Minor dents and a slightly open back panel come under physical damage. So they are within their rights to refuse free screen replacement.

"Yes bro, I agree there are minor dents on the corners, but they were there long before the green line appeared. The display was perfectly fine before this issue, so why did the green line suddenly show up? I’ve used phones from many different brands in my life, but I’ve never faced such a problem before. Even Samsung knows this is a display defect, that’s why they’re offering free replacements—but with conditions. I believe Samsung should follow OnePlus’s example and repair such issues without any terms and conditions."

@mehra2365 can you post the pictures of minor dents which was considered as one of the reasons to reject?
