I expected the new galaxy s10 would be really good and gaming but when I tried playing some games like pubg and Fortnite the experience was so bad. Pubg was almost unplayable because of severe lags and frame drops.
Even the COD: mobile beta can't run at extreme where as the OnePlus 7 and other devices with Snapdragon 855 run like a charm. They are so good at gaming and run cod: mobile beta in extreme settings and also run pubg without any problems for hours.
After buying this s10 I stopped gaming as this cannot run any heavy graphic intensive game properly.
I contacted Samsung several times but never accept that their new gpu is underpowered compared to adreno 640 and never game me a solution. They just say me to visit the service center and I did visit the service center twice and no one helped me just wasting my time complaining them. They are careless and I suggest everyone not to buy Samsung phones for gaming.

Not only gaming but there are many other problems like my phone opeans with my brother's face. Our faces are not similar and still it unlocks, the front camera gives washed out images like overexposed and it's pretty bad. Even while taking photos of faces the colour science is really bad it gives white faded image even with beauty mode off.

guys... the problem is Exynos. PUBG or any game performs butter smooth on Snapdragon variant of S10 series. I have tested both side by side. The difference is like Day and night. It **bleep** to be in region where we will only get exynos version. Sad.

Yes exactly the performance, gaming, camera, battery life everything is better on the Snapdragon varient. I tried contacting Samsung several times and they just don't accept that their exynos is not upto the mark and just say some useless trouble shooting steps which just don't work at all. We can solve some issues by continuously contacting Samsung and mailing them regarding these issues. There will be and improvement from Samsung only if so many people complain or else just forget it you have to get adjusted with this device.

THE JUNE UPDATE IS OUT AND THEY DIDN'T SOLVE THE GAMING PROBLEM YET. I HAVE TO TEST OTHER THINGS AND CHECK HOW IT PERFORMS.

NO ONE BLAME THE PHONE OR THE GAME. I have confirmed that it is due to the software optimization of the device and also because of thermal throttling. I'm using an s10e exynos variant. I used crossout mobile to determine this, and other games as well. Crossout's benchmark on the s10e FOR THE FIRST TIME ran at 60fps average but after the next benchmark dropped at 50 then 40 then 25. In comparison to SD845 which I also have (pocophone f1) it ran the game at 59 fps average and far more consistently, about 6 continuous benchmarks that it is within 58 - 60 fps average. Also, the phone runs very very hot. The fix I found out for this is when the game starts to lag, quit the game (don't task kill) then go to game launcher and launch it again through it, the game will resume where it was and you will be getting silky smooth games but only for a while, once it lags again, do the same thing. I also think it thermal throttles like hell but I have not tested it while keeping it cool. Put it in a fridge maybe. The exynos 9820 does prove to be better than the sd845, it's just not utilized well.

For me pubg works great but for some reason call of duty mobile lags. On highest settings cod mobile lags its so frustrating. I bought my s10 plus thinking it won't lag but sometimes it performs like my iphone 6s and lags bad. **bleep** even my iphone 6s I used to play on performs better when I put it near a fan this is messed up I want to return this phone and get another brand

Absolutely the worst phone i have ever purchased (S10 Plus)... and i had HTC Legend a few years ago... After the upgrade to Android 10 the network performance is just unacceptable and this is on Wifi, 4G and 3G. And what a "good" support from Samsung... "Please reset your network settings" and the case is closed.

Hey there all. I Have recently had problems with my S10e. Excessive heat and slow while under load and 3D Gameplay from when I play games. The issue escalated as time went by, and turns out the performance of (at least mines) device is heavily dependant on the storage. I have deleted photos and videos (Roughly 50 in total out of 200) and about 30 apps I have not used in a while. I tried my game that used to work smooth before (Torque Drift) I turned back up the resolution and graphics and the phone still performs smoothly like new. My advice is keep your samsungs (at least not the snapdragon ones) with as much free storage as possible for it to run smoothly.
