I have noticed a vertical pink line in my galaxy S23 around 15 days back. I haven't dropped the phone or misused it and the line appeared from no where. Immediately i have taken up the matter with samsung customer care who in turn asked me to visit samsung service centre. They examined my phone thoroughly and registered my complaint and asked me to write to customer care again since my phone is looking as good a new one and the line issue is a common problem continuing in all Galaxy S series models. They further told me that samsung is giving free replacement of display to all S series models till september 2025. Immediately i again wrote to customer care asking for free replacement quoting the SRN number since it is clearly a manufacturing defect. I got a reply stating that the issue is being studied by the senior team and asked me to wait for some time. I don't know how long i will have to wait. It is frustating that such an continued in all S models are being handled by samsung so lightly.

You Should Take a Photo Of the Current Phone Condition So You Can Later Prove You Complained Before September

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer care support through Samsung Members app as error report also send log files along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to other users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

I have already sent feedback and an error report. I also went to the Samsung service centre and they registered my complaint and gave me an SRN number. They are waiting for approval from customer care for a free replacement of the display.

My s22 mobile display got Green line on 1st of Jan after software update out of warranty after repeated request samsung changed my mobile display free of cost samsung service center and samsung customer support don't provide free replacement open my galaxy app send email to Samsung care + you will get positive reply 1753194666897.jpg

My dear friend, I already got this reply thrice during the past 15 days. You please ask your service head to authorise free replacement of display for my S23 since it is confirmed as a manufacturing defect as goodwill and reputation of samsung since the free replacement policy is continued till september 2025.
