I updated my phone's software via OTA and after updating, my phone's screen is damaged. Its showing green/white bar next to camera cutout.
This problem is showing when the phone's refresh rate is set to 120hz but it solves when the refresh rate is set to 60hz
I feld happy to read thqt Samsung is providing free sceeen replacement for one time within 3 yrs from the date of purchase. My phone is also eligible for the same. 

So i took my phone to Samsung India's Customer care but they refused to repair my phone for free since it was bought from The UAE. I requested a lot but they still did not entertain.
Since I live on the border between India and Nepal, so i decided to take it to Samsung Nepal's Service centre but they also refused to repair it for free since it was not bought from Nepal.

My question is why do consumers have to pay for the fault that is made by Samsung? Millions of users are having the same problem.
Second, it is not necessary that a person should always buy a new phone when he shifts to a new country for work? Mobile devices are the most perosnal devices in today's life and people do not often change their handsets because it has our valuable data. I just want Samsung to replace my screen for free. Thats all

Why should I? It is simply a mistake from Samsung and Samsung should repair it ASAP. Why am i being asked to show proof of purchase when everything is digital. Samsung servers know if i am on warranty or not and whether my firmware is official of not. But then why not implement it when providing service?
