Galaxy S22 Ultra Display Issue after Software update to UI-6 . Users having horrible experience

The Samsung S22 Ultra Display has the issue noticed by many users. this came to know when I had the similar issue noticed in my handset. 

I am usually very scaecely used and kept in good condition. No scratch whatsoever in the set. but while using the handset suddenly the bright spot appeared in the display. als if we closely looks it, we can see that the bright spot extends towards the left part of the display in a scattered manner. ifwe keep the handset in a darker place we can notice the light scattering easily. I really got annoyed after spending so much of money, such issues really put me in sad. then after browsing Samsung community support forum, I found that, I am not alone. many of the users are having the same exact issue what I am enduring now. I tried to resolve the issue by my own did the below points

1) went into Safe mode for any faullty application. ( negative)

2) did a factory reset. (negative no improvement).

then tried to change someof the badic setting which affects the display. activated the power savwer mode. instantaneously the bright patch dissappeared. the sceen become crispy and clean. but whenevet try to wake the screen by pressing the power button, I got a brief appearance of the bright patch over the left taks bar for second and immediately it dissappeared. 

also I tried to disable the power saver mode and reduced the refresh rate from 120 hertz to 60 hertz. then too the bright patch dissappeared. the sceen become crispy and clean. but whenevet try to wake the screen by pressing the power button, I got a brief appearance of the bright patch over the left taks bar for second and immediately it dissappeared. 

so my findigs are like even if the display is externally damged how it is possible that the display become normal if by enabling power savwer mode or reducing the refresh rate to 60???. 

Seriously Samsung requires a deeper analysis and save their trusitng users from the perils. 

spending so much of money to have such pain will definitely put us to think twice before opting for such poorly built Samsung Flagship devices. Hope samsung is listening.

Hello I am facing the problem of green screen and a yellow line on the top of the mobile after the software update.

The handset is purchased from Taiwan. Can u pls help.

Or any patch update will solve the issue

I am having the same problem...I thought its my phone's problem until i saw your post here. I was looking into replacing the display altogether which costs a lot considering the price of the phone.. have you found any solution for this yet?

I'm also facing same issues while after updating new version of software from last 3 days I'm facing same issues in display I went to customer service centre they saying your phone is dent and scratches and they were not accepting there problem in software they blaming only on users by seeing small small scratches they blaming due to users fault it will happen company was not any issue in software they checked everything in while testing after testing only we will release new updates like that they saying very worst response from Samsung service centre so better we have to go for consumer court so all of the Samsung users have to raise complaints in consumer court only only in consumer court only this issue will resolve

Facing the same issue after upgrade. Have we heard anything from Samsung on this?
The workaround is visibly helping but the screen color varies from the other half and this difference would be visible in app icons color difference. All app icons in effected half is visible as slightly greenish.
There needs to be something from Samung on this real soon.

I faced the same issue. The Samsung service center were more eager to replace my screen display for ₹ 21000 rather than troubleshoot the problem. The display problem got resolved when I changed Motion Smoothness setting to Standard from Adaptive - Thanks to this post. Turned from hard-core fan of Samsung over last 2 years to disappointed consumer.

I am facing the exact same issue with my s22 ultra. Kindly advice or make sure the tech team works on the this.
It's so disappointing after spending a lot of money.If this does not happen, trust will be lost from Samsung😞
