Future updates to ONE UI after flashing via sd card

I found a lot of people asking if we will get future updates after flashing one ui so i made this post. 

I was going through UK community while I was diligently waiting for the beta and I found that some users who flashed the rom via sd card or odin were still able to join the beta programme and infact received the OTA updates, however i can't say the same for our country. It remains a question of concern if we will receive the updates or not but I am highly positive that we will be able to join the beta program even after flashing and in that case we will surely receive future updates.

But you can always downgrade to oreo and the process is very easy either via smart switch or odin. Just keep the firmwares downloaded onto your PC.

I have had flashed beta manully on S8 with Oreo launched and was able to join beta programme. so it should work with this device as well.
