Even in low end phones fingerprint works fine with screen protector. While flagship s24 ultra fingerprint sensor is absolutely nonsense. It never works properly with screen protectors. Any solutions other than removing the screen protector and using phone without any protection? Already tried increasing touch sensitivity and re registering same finger multiple times. Still it's always a luck. It is so annoying to always see failed attempts.

it's working fine for me at S24 5G with protector as well. You can get it checked from Service Centre.

Fingerprint sensor is very fast, new and upgraded in Galaxy S24. I have applied local quality tempered glass but still it is unlocking very fast and securly. I have checked ultra but without tempered glass. S24 base model is working perfectly even i applied temperes glass so i didn't know more about it.. Remember low end or midrange phones have optical fingerprint sensor and flagship phones have ultrasonic fingerprint sensor which is more secured. For as a solution you can use original samsung screen protector or any third party high quality costly tepered glass which supports fingerprint.

Okay. So trust me, this is going to be the best solution you would find and it's tried and tested. Remove all the fingerprints first. Now add a finger print and when recording you finger print use right thumb first, then left thumb, and keep doing this after every one register. So says first right thumb 10% then left thumb 20% and soo on until you register 100%.
Now make sure you don't add any more fingerprints. Try this.

When you add multiple fingers, it takes time for the software to find out which fingerprint it is and then after verifying it unlocks. By using both thumb and just one fingerprint registration, it doesn't need to go through this processing as it just needs to check one finger. And since both your thumb are registered on a single profile, it would be much faster than registering left and right thumb separately and creating two fingerprint profiles. Both you left and right thumb would be registered as fingerprint1 and that's it

After this just tap once instead of holding to scan and see how fast this works

Glad it worked for you. Next time try using a bit of Vaseline to moist you thumb and register. That helps to get better scanning of your thumb
