After installing the latest software update on my Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, the fingerprint sensor has stopped functioning properly. When attempting to register a fingerprint, the process fails at around 90% completion with the message: “Couldn’t register your fingerprint.”

Before the update, the sensor worked perfectly. No screen protector changes or new app installations were made around the time of the issue. The problem began immediately after the update.
