Finally Solved : CSC and OTA Update

Background:

I got this S24 Ultra from Thailand with CSC as THX, which i changed in India to INS via samfw tool. It took me 5 mins to do that. 

I was really struggling through a point where i was not able to receive any ota update after changing CSC to INS. 

Reason : samsung wallet, samsung pay, call recording etc 

After searching a lot on internet and watching n number of videos, i came to conclusion that the only way to keep you phone updated is via samfw or pushing update manually via Odin

Which is quite a hussle. 

Yesterday i was exploring this phone and came across one setting under developer options. 

It was called as "force update phone upon restart", i pushed it to "on" 

I restarted my phone and to my surprise, holy cow there was an OTA update. 

I dont know why everyone on internet is going crazy and using various tools after changing CSC. 

Hope this helps everyone looking to change their CSC to India (INS)

Wait for a week bro, you ll receive it.

Additionally after changing my CSC i also did a reset (format) my entire phone to make sure everything works.

It's working good since then.

I tried changing back to XSG and got update and returned to INS will check next month again with restart option enabled

Update: the next month also I didn't get update using restart method, later i flashed the indian firmware using home_csc file and update showed up next month. So if nothing else work try flashing indian firmware itself

Hi aman, can you guide me how to flash indian firmware using home_csc? Getting same issue as yours

I also have done the same thing also enabled 'auto update system' option in developer settings but not getting any updates

I would suggest if you could just backup everything in your phone and reset/fornat it.

Done resetting the device but still no ota🥲

Same situation here. However, I believe that prior to the November release, the build number for the update was the same for both the XSG and INS variants, but that’s no longer the case. For this reason, the update is being pushed from Samsung servers, but due to the mismatch, it is not showing up on the device. You could wait to see what happens, but I think the chances are low. Otherwise, you can manually flash the compatible firmware through Odin or just change back the CSC to the original.

I can't find the option in developer settings can someone help

I am exited and rebooted a few times. Humm. No luck. Bought from Dubai and switched to INS.
