Drastic Battery Drain After Updating to One UI 7 - Even After Factory Reset

After updating my Galaxy S24 Ultra to One UI 7 (Android 15), I’ve been facing serious battery drain issues. On One UI 6.1.1, I consistently got around 8.5 to 10 hours of screen-on time, which was impressive. But since the One UI 7 update, I now barely get 5 hours of SOT, even with only 5% brightness.

Hoping to fix the issue, I performed a full factory reset, but unfortunately, that made no difference at all. At best, I now manage 5 to 6 hours of screen-on time, which forces me to charge the phone up to three times a day — something I never had to do before.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

Turned off AOD and Edge Panels

Limited background activity

Disabled RAM Plus

Manually set brightness

Wiped cache partition via recovery

Nothing has improved the situation. This level of battery performance is unacceptable for a premium device after a major update.

Please investigate and address this issue. I’ve seen several users facing the same problem post-update. We need proper battery optimization in the next patch.

Bro with my #S25ultra with OneUi7 out of the box i get a SOT of 7hrs with no gaming or power hungry apps. This is very disappointing with the latest flagship.

They promised 7 years of updates, yet took 6 months just to release the first one. And when One UI 7 finally came after so much anticipation, the battery condition turned out like this! These things are just unacceptable from Samsung. There are still 6 major updates left-how will this phone even handle them? Will it give just 1 hour of screen-on time by then ?
