Does UV Glass Affect The S23 Ultra's Display?

When i bought the s23 ultra from the samsung store,The owner,Salesman and the guys working there told me to not install UV glass on it because it's glue will somehow penetrate the screen and will cause it to malfunction in few days,weeks or months and the screen will need replacement.I asked about the protection of the screen and they said its super strong and don't/won't need any other protection so I took their word and they installed a normal paper guard as they say which is just a film.Fast Forward to a month and while the phone was in my pocket idk what hit it..it must not be anything hard because I did not even felt it to even remember that what hit it and when I pulled out the phone I saw a crack and screen below the fingerprint scanner not working.Apparently the "Super Strong" screen was broken because something so severe hit it that I didn't even knew what it was while it was in my pocket.

So I got the display changed and now I'm again considering UV glass protection and if thats not possible then Flip Cover but I'm more inclined towards UV glass.

If anybody can tell me how or does the UV Glass's Glue breaks the display of s23 ultra then please do.

No it's wrong.. u can use uv glass worth 450+.. not install cheap quality uv glass like 50 150 200..

I'm all ready to buy even 1k+ guards if they don't do what the store owner said they do

It's not harm for your screen.. I've already used it when I've s23 ultra.. coz for curved screen I'll upgrade to s24 ultra flat screen

One of my friend did too and he said go for it and I told the repair guy of Samsung store yesterday that one of my friend has it and he has no problem and he said "Sir ham repair krte hai...hamein pta hai ki dikkat aati hai and thode time baad aayegi"
